Features Change menu titles, URLs, icons, CSS classes and so on. Organize menu items via drag & drop. Change menu permissions by setting the required capability or role. Move a menu item to a different submenu. Create custom menus that point to any part of the Dashboard or an external URL. Hide/show any menu or menu item. The Pro version lets you set per-role menu permissions, hide a menu from everyone except a specific user, export your admin menu, drag items between menu levels, make menus open in a new window and more. Try online demo. Notes If you delete any of the default menus they will reappear after saving. This is by design. To get rid of a menu for good, either hide it or change it’s access permissions. Quick Page/Post Redirect Plugin
This plugin has two redirect functionalities – “Quick Redirects” and “Individual Redirects”: QUICK REDIRECTS (301 REDIRECTS) Quick Redirects are designed to be quick and simple to add. You do not need to have an existing page or post set up to add one. You just put the Request URL and the Destination URL and the plugin will redirect it. This type of redirect is great for fixing typos when a page was created, redirecting old URLs to a new URL so there is no 404, and to redirect links from an old site that has been converted to WordPress.
AMP for WordPress
This plugin adds support for the Accelerated Mobile Pages (AMP) Project, which is an open source initiative that aims to provide mobile optimized content that can load instantly everywhere. With the plugin active, all posts on your site will have dynamically generated AMP-compatible versions, accessible by appending /amp/ to the end your post URLs. For example, if your post URL is http://example.com/2016/01/01/amp-on/, you can access the AMP version at http://example.com/2016/01/01/amp-on/amp/. If you do not have pretty permalinks enabled, you can do the same thing by appending ?amp=1, i.e. http://example.com/?p=123&=1 Note #1: homepage, the blog index, and archives are not currently supported. Note #2: this plugin only creates AMP content but does not automatically display it to your users when they visit from a mobile device. That is handled by AMP consumers such as Google Search. For more details, see the AMP Project FAQ. Follow along with or contribute to the development of this plugin on GitHub. For more information on the plugin, how the plugin works and how to configure and extend it, please see the project wiki.
One Click Demo Import
The best feature of this plugin is, that theme authors can define import files in their themes and so all you (the user of the theme) have to do is click on the “Import Demo Data” button. Are you a theme author? Setup One Click Demo Imports for your theme and your users will thank you for it! Follow this easy guide on how to setup this plugin for your themes! Also sign up to the newsletter, so we can inform you about any updates, changes or improvements. Are you a theme user? Contact the author of your theme and let them know about this plugin. Theme authors can make any theme compatible with this plugin in 15 minutes and make it much more user-friendly. “Where can I find the contact of the theme author?“ This plugin will create a submenu page under Appearance with the title Import demo data. If the theme you are using does not have any predefined import files, then you will be presented with three file upload inputs. First one is required and you will have to upload a demo content XML file, for the actual demo import. The second one is optional and will ask you for a WIE or JSON file for widgets import. You create that file using the Widget Importer & Exporter plugin. The third one is also optional and will import the customizer settings, select the DAT file which you can generate from Customizer Export/Import plugin (the customizer settings will be imported only if the export file was created from the same theme). The final one is optional as well and will import your Redux framework settings. You can generate the export json file with the Redux framework plugin. This plugin is using the improved WP import 2.0 that is still in development and can be found here: https://github.com/humanmade/WordPress-Importer. All progress of this plugin’s work is logged in a log file in the default WP upload directory, together with the demo import files used in the importing process. NOTE: There is no setting to “connect” authors from the demo import file to the existing users in your WP site (like there is in the original WP Importer plugin). All demo content will be imported under the current user. Do you want to contribute? Please refer to the official GitHub repository of this plugin.
